Introduction

Cloud Analytics (CDR-View 2.0) in x-bees/ Collaboration provides collected data for insights and analysis. To ensure efficient data management and storage, we present the Rotation Policy. The Policy explains the duration for which data is stored by default and provides guidelines for extending the storage period by ordering storage licenses.

Data Storage Duration

By default, Cloud Analytics includes the data for 3 months. During this period, all relevant data is retained and available for analysis. If you require the data to be stored for a longer period of time, you need to order additional storage licenses. The number of storage licenses depends on the needed storage duration, as outlined below:

Period

Amount of licenses

Period

Amount of licenses

3 months

Included in the license

1 year

1 storage license

2 years

2 storage licenses

4 years

3 storage licenses

8 years

4 storage licenses

The Rotation Policy will take effect starting from December 1, 2023. To ensure an extended data retention period, be sure to purchase additional storage in advance, otherwise, a 3-month data rotation will be enforced.

FAQ

Q1. Does the Rotation Policy apply to call recordings?

No, the Rotation Policy outlined in the table specifically applies to the retention of call events used for generating reports in Cloud Analytics. It's important to note that while the data storage period can be extended, the storage of call recordings is managed separately. Call recordings must still fit within the PBX storage capacity and the rotation is managed in WMS -> PBX -> Call and chat history.

Q2. If a storage license is ordered on Server PBX, is it applied to all Client PBXs?

Yes, when a storage license is ordered on Server PBX, it is applied to all Client PBXs. This means that there will be a separate charge for each individual Client PBX. For example, if there are 3 PBXs in WMS network and 1 storage license is purchased, the charge will be applied to each PBX, resulting in a total of 3 charges.
