Note

Wizyconf is distinguished by updates from 3 different branches:

Important: for access to video conferencing service on iOS devices, use Safari browser or install Wizyconf iOS App (access via Google Chrome is temporarily disabled). 
  1. Wizyconf app via Chromium OS (automatic upgrade). To upgrade:
    1. Put the device into sleep. The process is performed while Wizyconf is in sleep mode
    2. To check the App version, press Home button on a keyboard -> go to Wizyconf Settings menu (Google chrome icon)-> click on Main menu (three lines) -> select About Chromium OS (a mouse and a keyboard are required)
  2. WMS interface (manual upgrade). To upgrade:
    1. Upgrade WMS to the latest version from rel50/ rel50beta repositories
  3. Conference server: no need to upgrade, the changes are available right away

  • launch Wizyconf Station
  • select MS Teams (located at the top under "Join via code")
  • sign in to your Microsoft account

[WMS-11375] - wizy: improvements for camera controls:

  • added the following notifications:
    • showing a selected camera after switching between cameras in Wizywebinar and other 3rd party integrations
    • for 4k camera prompting to press "Camera zoom in" key to be able to control it
    • when the min/ max zoom level is reached
  • the last selected camera is now preserved for all further conferences/ 3rd party meetings

Limitations:

  • the improvements are not applicable to Google Meet
  • in Webex, if a camera is selected in Popup setting, it is not preserved

[WMS-11398] - wizy: added support for additional languages to a hardware keyboard input on Wizyconf HW Station

  • Default supported languages: IT/ FR/ ES/ UK/ FI/ NO

How to select:

  • press Home button on a connected keyboard -> go to Quick Settings menu (lower right-hand side of the screen, indicating the language and time)
  • press Keyboard icon and select the language from the list

Note: you can add other languages in Chrome Settings -> Languages and input, but they are deleted from the list after Wizyconf Station reboot
