Wizyconf App distinguishes between updates via Chromium OS over the air (automatic upgrade) and updates involving web interface (manual upgrade). 

  • For automatic updates: put the device into sleep. The process is performed while Wizyconf is in sleep mode. To check the App version, go to Wizyconf Settings menu-> click on Main menu (three lines) -> select About Chromium OS (mouse is needed)
  • For manual updates: upgrade WMS to the latest version from rel40/ rel40beta repositories

New Feature

[WMS-7086] - conf: added support for screen sharing via WebRTC from Collaboration to Wizyconf

How-to:

  • Go to Collaboration top menu -> Video Conference window
  • Select a conference and click Screen icon to start screen sharing
  • Select the content and click Share button
  • Click x End icon or Stop Sharing button to terminate the streaming session

Notes:

  • supported browsers: Chrome v. 72+; Firefox v. 66+
  • no video and audio
  • participants who share their screen do not enter a conference room, but their user statuses change to DND and they are displayed as participants inside a conference

Improvement

[WMS-6771] - wizy: Wizyconf authentication code is now displayed if the password didn't changed after provisioning in order to reset the device
