How to upgrade MonoLED and DuoLED firmware

Take the steps described in this Guide to upgrade the firmware of:

  • Mono/DuoLED in order to increase the volume level by +10 dB
  • DuoLED-BT in order to solve an issue with beep sounds appearing after changing mic volume level

Requirements

  • Windows OS
  • Wildix Mono/DuoLED Headset
  • Wildix DuoLED-BT Headset

MonoLED/ DuoLED Upgrade Procedure

Before upgrading, download and unpack the Upgrade Utility:

To upgrade, proceed with the following steps:

  1. Press and hold the Mute button and then connect the Headset to you PC via USB port:

  2. Start the CM65xx.exe which is the Upgrade Utility:

  3. After the successful upgrade you get the following notification:

  4. After the update, re-connect the Headset's USB cable into your PC
  5. Uninstall the Upgrade Utility: go to Device Manager -> Sound, video and game controllers -> Wildix DuoLED (MonoLed):

  6. Open Driver tab. Press Uninstall Device button and then Uninstall button:

  7. Re-connect the USB cable into the PC one more time

DuoLED-BT Upgrade Procedure

Before upgrading, download and unpack the archive:

To upgrade, proceed with the following steps:

  1. Keep DuoLED-BT powered on

  2. Use Type-C USB cable to connect the Headset to PC, and then press Volume down and Mute buttons together until Headset status LED stops being red

  3. Start Flash.bat from the archive

  4. The firmware is updated
