Warning

Important for WMS network in WMS 5.03:

  1. For correct behavior of WMS network, first update Server PBX and then Client PBXs
  2. In case of updating from WMS versions lower than 5.02, make sure that your WMS Network credentials correspond to the new security requirements and only then proceed with updating the PBXs:
    • Login: 13 characters, it's required to use lowercase letters and digits [a-z 0-9]
    • Password: 24 characters, it's required to use lowercase, uppercase letters and digits [A-Z a-z 0-9] 
  3. After upgrade WMS network to 5.03, for the correct work of calls between nodes, the following ports must be opened: 443 (or custom secure port) + RTP ports (on SIP-RTP page)


Warning

Starting from December 13 2021, WMS Release Candidate  5.03.20211206.4 upgrade becomes gradually available in different regions/ countries, according to the following schedule:

  • December 13: upgrade available for the PBXs related* to the UK, India, Estonia, Finland, Australia, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden
  • December 14: United States, Canada, Latin America
  • December 15: Germany, Austria, Switzerland
  • December 16: Italy
  • December 17: France, Belgium, Spain
    • December 18 (at night)weekly auto-upgrade available for all the countries listed above
    • December 28 (at night)monthly auto-upgrade available for all the countries

*Note: PBX is considered as "related to a certain country", based on the Wildix sales manager assigned to the Partner, and not based on the physical location of the system or the customer.

[WMS-11925] - x-ca: fixed an issue in which automatic clearing of outdated data in x-caracal didn’t work properly in some cases, which could result in database overload

Clearing of old data is run at 4 am every day. By default, the system clears data older than 12 months, if other values are not specified in WMS -> Settings -> PBX -> Call and chat history.

[WMS-12006] - col: configured Call Control mode to be enabled automatically for users running Collaboration inside MS Teams

It is no longer required to set the parameter CALL_CONTROL_FEATURE=true in the config file /rw2/etc/env.custom.ini to enable Call Control mode for MS Teams

Example of configuration

Preconditions:

  • Provision W-AIR Bases on Cloud PBX and create W-AIR Network
  • Register W-AIR Handsets on HW/VM PBX
  • Assign a user from Cloud PBX to W-AIR Headset (this user will trigger an alarm)
  • Assign a user from HW/VM PBX to any device (this user will receive an emergency call)

Configuration:

  1. Configure Alarm and Text Messaging & Alarm Server on Main W-AIR Base using HW/VM PBX IP
  2. Start W-AIR alarms service on HW/VM PBX
  3. Create a dedicated Dialplan on HW/VM PBX

[WMS-12609] - x-ca: fixed an issue in which x-caracal failed to display reports if the selected date range was highly loaded

[WMS-12616] - dev: improved the behaviour of "BaseMaxSIPReg" parameter that allows setting number of W-AIR handsets/ headsets to be distributed evenly over W-AIR Bases

The logic of distribution in W-AIR Network is as follows:

  • with 2 and more W-AIR Bases, the default number is 8 accounts per 1 Base
  • with 1 W-AIR Base, the default number is 30 accounts
