Bulk deployment for Windows

Wildix offers Wildix Collaboration extensions for enterprise deployment on Windows via SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).

MSI package are built with default settings to simplify the bulk installation thanks to:

  • Silent installation (no popup confirmations during the installation)
  • Configuration using Windows Installer properties
  • Customization via MSI editor tools

Collaboration native application

Collaboration native application for Windows / MacOS – has the same features as web-based Collaboration. Limitation: no support for text-to-speech (live search, chat).

MSI file for Windows (silent installation mode for Collaboration Windows app – no pop-up confirmation windows during the app installation)

For MacOS:

Example of the installation command

 > Collaboration-1.0.8-host.msi /qn host=sergey.wildixin.com hidePreferences=1

Parameters (stored in the register)

  • host - host installation for all users on the computer
  • hidePreferences - disable the settings menu for all users

Logic of work
This sets the default settings for all users.
If the user will be able to install his host through the settings menu, the priority will be his settings and you can not change them through the command line until he removes his host

  • x86 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wildix Collaboration

Headset Integration

Support for remote call answer / hangup and volume control from headset via USB connector on macOS / Windows.
