Cloud Analytics Data Retention

The retention of Cloud Analytics data also relies on the CDS. By default, Cloud Analytics keeps the data for 3 months. During this period, all relevant data is retained and available for analysis. If you require the data to be stored for a longer period of time, you need to order a dedicated storage bundle. The size of a storage bundle influences the Cloud Analytics data retention period, as outlined in the next chapter.

Note

Cloud Analytics allows you to generate reports covering the past 6 months. If you need older reports, it may take up to 1 day to extract them from the encrypted data storage (you can request this through Customer Care).

You can order CDS Bundles, which offer various options based on storage capacity, Cloud Analytics retention, and the number of Static IPs available for assignment. These bundles are designed to meet the different needs of users and organizations.

Let's take a closer look at the available options:

  1. CDS-10 is suitable for small-scale deployments with up to 20 users. It includes 10GB of storage capacity and is specifically designed for standalone PBXs, allowing the assignment of 1 Static IP. The Analytics data is stored for up to 5 years.

  2. CDS-50 is suitable for larger deployments with up to 100 users. It includes 50GB of storage capacity, supporting up to 5 PBXs in WMS Network and the assignment of 5 Static IPs. The Analytics data is stored for 10 years.

  3. CDS-500 is suitable for medium-sized deployments with up to 500 users. It includes 500GB of storage capacity, supporting up to 50 PBXs in WMS Network and the assignment of 50 Static IPs. The Analytics data is stored for 15 years.

  4. CDS-5000 is suitable for large-scale deployments with more than 500 users. It includes 5TB of storage capacity with no limitations in terms of the number of PBXs in WMS Network and Static IPs. The Analytics data is stored for 20 years.

Notes:

  • Cloud Analytics allows you to generate reports covering the past 6 months. If you need older reports, it may take up to 1 day to extract them from the encrypted data storage (you can request this through Customer Care)

  • The assignment of Static IPs within the CDS Bundles is done manually through WMP on per-PBX level, under Advanced features. This provides complete control and flexibility in managing and assigning Static IPs according to specific requirements

  • Static IP assignment is not applicable to VM/ HW PBXs

  • Since CDS-10 is designed for standalone PBXs, it is unavailable for WMS Network

Starting from February 1, 2024, all existing PBXs with purchased storage licenses are transitioned to the CDS Bundles. The round-up strategy is applied to allocating storage licenses to existing systems. This strategy involves rounding up the number of required licenses to ensure consistency.:

  • The round-up strategy for multiple PBXs in the WMS Network is based on the number of PBXs in the Network. For example, a customer with 4 PBXs in the WMS Network is transitioned to CDS-50.

  • For standalone PBXs, the round-up strategy is based on the number of storage licenses. For example, customers with up to 4 storage licenses are transitioned to CDS-50 if they have a standalone PBX. Similarly, if there are 6 or more storage licenses, it is rounded up to CDS-500.
