In this release, we are introducing the option to use company cloud storage for backups and recordings. These changes are part of our commitment to reducing the load on our PBX storage and improving data reliability.

What?

  • Call Recordings: In case you have set up an integration to pull out recordings, you have one of the following options:

    • API for Retrieving Recordings: Access through the API endpoint: GET /api/v1/pbx/recordings

    • 7 Day Local Copy: A local copy of the recordings will still be retained for seven days

  • Backups: Implemented within the current release

  • Voicemails and Faxes: Will be implemented in the upcoming releases

Where?

  • Cloud PBXs: Will be enabled by default

  • Hardware/ Virtual Machine PBXs: optional

When?

  • Default Implementation: After upgrading to WMS 6.05

  • Beta Release: Expected Estimated on November 10, 2023

  • Stable Release: Estimated on February 1, 2024
