Large-Scale deployment using Microsoft Windows Installer 

Wildix offers Wildix Collaboration extensions for enterprise deployment on Windows via SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).

MSI package are built with default settings to simplify the bulk installation thanks to:

  • Silent installation (no popup confirmations during the installation)
  • Configuration using Windows Installer properties
  • Customization via MSI editor tools

Collaboration native application

Collaboration native application for Windows / MacOS – has the same features as web-based Collaboration. LimitationMSI (Microsoft Windows Installer) packages for large-scale deployment on Per-Machine basis (multiple users on the same machine) for Windows, suitable in the deployments using Citrix, SCCM and Microsoft Terminal Server. You can use MSI packages to install Wildix applications across your enterprise using Windows system management software such as Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).

Collaboration Native App

Collaboration native app offers the same features of web-based Collaboration (limitation: no support for text-to-speech (in live search, chat).

Parameters Parameters (stored in the register)

  • host host - host installation for all users on the computer
  • hidePreferences hidePreferences - disable the settings menu for all users

Logic of work
This sets the default settings for all users .
If (note: if the user will be able to install his installs his/her host through the settings menu, the priority will be his given to user settings and you can not the admin will not be able to change them through the command line until he the user removes his the host).
