Before using the Headset

Make sure that all the components are present in the shipping package/box:

W-AIR Headset:

  • 1 x Headset

  • 1 x Charger  

  • 1 x A/C AC adapter

Using the Charger

Input Voltage: W-AIR headset is charged through the use of a charger. The charger is powered by AC supply from 110-240VAC ; Output Voltage that supplies  5.5VDC / at 600mA.

For the best performance, charge the handset When charging the battery for the first time, it is necessary to leave the headset in the charger for at least 10 hours for the first time.

Each headset is charged through the use of a headset charger. The charger is a compact desktop unit designed to charge and automatically maintain the correct battery charge levels and voltage.

When charging, make sure before the battery is fully charged, and the headset is ready for use.

For correct charging, ensure that the room temperature is between 5°C and 25°C /  41°F 41°F and 77°F.   Do not leave place the handset headset in direct sunlight when charging. If the headset is turned off when placed in the charger, the handset automatically turns on and announces Subscribed or Not  Subscribed.

Registration of W-AIR Headset

To use W-AIR Headset, you need to register it to the existing W-AIR Base Station.

W-AIR Headset operating states

The Headset has different operating states. The 5 physical keys can be used for different functions depending on what operating state the Headset is in.

Idle state

The Idle state is when the Headset is ready to handle calls:

  • AUX function key key

    • Short press for entering Menu mode

  • Volume+ key key

    • Short press for increasing ringer volume

    • 2 seconds long press for enabling Silent mode. When enabled, the voice prompt announces “Silent “Silent mode onon”

  • Volume- key key

    • Short press for decreasing ringer volume

    • 2 seconds long press for disabling Silent mode. When disabled, the voice prompt announces “Silent mode off

Registration of W-AIR Headset


To use W-AIR Headset, you need to register it to the existing W-AIR Base Station.

  1. Go to Collaboration -> and click + Add device
  2. Press Call button on W-AIR headset, you will hear the pairing code; 
    enter this code into the field
  3. You will hear voice prompt saying "Activated, thank you!"


Delete W-AIR Headset

  1. Go to Collaboration
  2. You will hear voice prompt saying "Deactivated, thank you!"

How to access the Menu

When the Headset is in Idle state, a user can enter the Menu to change different settings.

  • AUX function button:

    • Short press for entering Menu mode/ selecting Menu option

    • Double press for deselecting Menu option

    • 2 seconds long press exiting Menu mode

  • Volume + button:

    • Short press for moving to the next item

  • Volume - button

    • Short press for moving back to the previous item

Menu structure

When you enter the menu, the voice prompt will announce “Silent mode On or Off” and the LED Indicator will be purple. Now you can navigate through the menu and adjust the settings as preferred.

  • Audio feedback: Choose between beeps or voice prompts (where available) as user feedback. Where no voice prompts are available, beeps will be played and this setting is ignored.

  • Silent charging: The Headset makes no call indication (neither ringer nor LEDs) while charging

    • On: Only LED indication while charging

    • Headset Deactivated: The Headset is disconnected and can’t receive calls while charging

    • Off: Normal mode with LED indication and audio while charging

Call Control

Incoming call

When you receive an incoming call, the LED indicator starts blinking with fast short green flashes and you hear a ringer.

  • Press Mute key to mute/ unmute the microphone during an active call

Hold

Put a call on hold/  Retrieve a call:

  • Press ON/ OFF-hook key for 2 seconds to put a call on hold/ retrieve a call

End a call

End an active call:

  • Press ON/ OFF-hook key to end a call
