1 - Speaker 1 interface: according to the device input voltage adaptive output maximum power; 4Ω speaker, POE / 8W, 12V / 10W, 18V / 20W, 24V / 30W. The greater the horn impedance, the smaller the output power. Suggested wire diameter: 18AWG or larger diameter.

2 - Speaker 2 interface: connect external headsets or active speakers

3 - LED interface: 5V output, connect an external LED, indicating the network, call and registration statuses

4 - Switch input 2  Function key interface: connect switch components to this interface

5 - MIC interface: it is recommended to use an electret condenser microphone (sensitivity: -38dB, bias voltage: 2.2V) and connect it with a shielded cable to the grounding screw to improve anti-interference

6 - Switch input 2 interface: connect switch components to this interface

7 - Switch output interface: corresponds to the short-circuit (switch input 2)  input interface, allows to control electric locks, alarm loghts and other equipment

8 - 12V ~ 24V 2A input Power input interface: 12~24V 2A input, according to the input voltage, determine the maximum W-PA output power power amplifier

Instalation of W-PA SIP Paging Gateway

  1. Go to WMS -> Devices
  2. Click Add
  3. Enter MAC address of the device (you can find it on the device label)
  4. Click Next. You will be forwarded to the provisioning window with the device information (MAC, Type and Provisioning URL)
  5. Click Finish
  6. Access W-PA web interface for configuration settings:
    • Press Volume - button for 3 seconds to obtain its IP address
    • IP address will be playbacked through the speaker
    • First time access credentials: admin : admin
  7. After you log in W-PA web interface, go to System -> Auto Provision -> Static Provisioning Server and fill in the following information:
    • Server Address: enter your PBX host address or public IP
    • Configuration File Name: ?action=setaps
    • Protocol Type: HTTPS
    • Click Apply

  8. Go to System -> Tools -> Reboot phone
  9. Click Reboot button
  10. Confirm the reboot by clicking OK
  11. You will hear two audio signals: the first one is played at the beginning of the reboot, the second one is played after it is completed
Note

Note: in case you can see the model type, login1, the firmware version and the password of the device in WMS -> DevicesDevices, and the device Status is green, it means that it is provisioned.

  1. Go to WMS -> Devices 
  2. Choose your W-PA from the list of available devices and click Assign to user
  3. Enter the extension number of a user you want to assign the device to

    Note: you can assign W-PA to an existing user or create a new one in WMS -> Users


Public announcer function

...

  1. Call the extension number you've assigned the device to from any Wildix IP phone/ Collaboration/ Mobile app

  2. The device will auto answer and play back your voice over SPK1 and/ or SPK2

  3. If you want to finish broadcasting, click Hangup (red) icon to hang up a call

Factory reset

In case you need to reconfigure your W-PA, you should perform a reset procedure.

To restart and restore the factory settings of W-PA SIP Paging Gateway:

Press the Reset key with a paperclip and hold it for 3 seconds the Reset buttonseconds
