Introduction
For new hardware orders invoiced on or after February 1, 2026, Wildix introduces the new option – Rental, which allows Partners to rent Wildix hardware for a fixed term (3 or 5 years) instead of purchasing it outright (CAPEX) or using HWaaS. This guide explains how the Rental option works, how to activate it, and what devices are covered.
Requirements
Rental option applies to new hardware orders only (from February 1, 2026)
Rental is available for most hardware devices (except accessories and items marked as CAPEX-only)
Rental requires 3 or 5-years commitment, with monthly/yearly billing frequencies supported
In case of adding Rental devices, the whole PBX (all licenses) should be committed
Rental and HWaaS cannot be mixed on the same PBX. However, you can have both Rental and CAPEX devices on the same PBX
Difference from HWaaS
The main difference between Rental and HWaaS options is that Rental is offered at a lower cost compared to HWaaS.
Also, Rental is available only for new orders from February 2026 and requires 3 or 5-years commitment, with only monthly/yearly billing frequencies supported.
Pricing
You can view Rental hardware pricing in Salesforce Partner Community → Price Book:
Choose Product Type → Rental, select Price List Type and click Next:
Choose the preferred file format and click on it. The file gts automatically uploaded.
How to Get Rental Hardware
Log in to Salesforce Partner Community
Create an Opportunity and create Quote. In case of an existing Opportunities, create Change Order.
In the Hardware Type field, choose the option Rental:
Important: Please note that once the type is applied on the PBX, it cannot be changed.
Select the Commitment option (mandatory field):
In the Additional Configuration, make sure to choose the option Additional items, to add the necessary devices to your order:
In the Additional Items section, choose hardware devices Category, Product, and Quantity. Add as many items as you need.

FAQ
1. Can I convert my existing CAPEX hardware to Rental?
Not yet. Converting existing CAPEX devices to Rental will be supported once IT-7088 is released (see the Salesforce Partner Community Changelog).
2. What happens at the end of the Rental term?
The contract auto-renews unless you provide 60 days written notice. The notice should be submitted via Customer Care ticket.
3. Can I mix Rental and HWaaS devices on the same PBX?
No, you cannot mix Rental and HWaaS on the same PBX.
4. What if hardware is lost or damaged?
In case of damage/ loss, you are invoiced at the current CAPEX list price.
5. What is the RMA procedure?
Rental model follows the same RMA process as HWaaS for manufacturing defects.
