Introduction

Conference and call recordings in x-bees/ Collaboration 7/ x-hoppers can be viewed via Sales Intelligence. Depending on the product and on the user subscription plan, a different scope of Sales Intelligence functionality is available when accessing conference recordings.

Requirements

  • ACL rule "Can see call recordings" enabled for users who should have access to recordings of calls and conferences, in which the users participated. If the user has the permission but did not participate in the call/ conference, to be able to access the recording, the user should have ACL “Can See analytics” of any of the users who participated in the conference.

Note: The logic is the following:

  • If "Can see call recordings" is allowed and user participated in the call/ conference, the user can open the recording in Sales Intelligence. If the user didn't participate in the call/ conference and has no ACL permission "Can see analytics", access is denied. However, if the user has the permission "Can see analytics" of at least one of the participants of the call/ conference, the user can access the recording in Sales Intelligence.

To avoid unauthorized access to call/ conference recordings, the recommended ACL permission “Can see analytics” for different employee levels is as follows:

  • Regular employees may not need "Can see analytics" permission and have access only to the recordings they participated in via the "Can see call recordings" ACL rule.

  • Team managers / supervisors require the “Can see call recordings” and “Can see analytics” permissions, limited to their own groups.

  • Executives / senior managers require the “Can see call recordings” and “Can see analytics: Everybody” permissions, giving access to recordings across all groups.

How to access recordings

After the call/ conference ends, the links to the recording appear in the conversation:

In case any of the required ACL permissions is missing, you can see the following notification when trying to open the recording:
