Introduction 

For such products as x-bees, Collaboration 7 and x-hoppers, it is possible to install and use Progressive Web App (PWA). PWA is a web-based application that can be installed on a device, which provides desktop-like features and an overall experience similar to the web version. PWA is hosted by Chrome browser but looks and feels like a native app. Fundamentally, PWAs remain websites operating inside the browser’s environment, providing the level of security and control that many administrators need for their users.

PWA Benefits 

  • Quick access: can be pinned to the taskbar or dock for convenient, one‑click access

  • Unified experience: delivers a consistent experience for users who also use the desktop client on other devices.

How to Install PWA

  1. Open the web version of x-bees/ Collaboration 7/ x-hoppers

  2. Click on the Install App icon in the address bar:

  1. Click Install on the screen that pops up to confirm PWA installation:

  1. x-bees/ Collaboration 7/ x-hoppers gets added to Chrome apps:

PWA automatically opens once you install it:

Note: When opening PWA, the browser tab with x-bees/ Collaboration 7/ x-hoppers is automatically closed. 

The PWA is added to dock, so you can open the app in just one click:
