Problem

When a call is placed to Polycom SoundStation IP 5000, there one of the following problems with audio occurs:

  • one-way audio (no audio either on Polycom side or on the caller side)
  • no audio (both on Polycom side and on the caller's side)


Solution

The problem is that Polycom SoundStation IP 5000 does not support Direct RTP. To resolve the problem, disable Direct RTP for these calls via Dialplan:
