Introduction
Manual upgrade of WP600A and WP600AXX WP600ACG phones can be performed from a USB flash drive with the relevant firmware uploaded to it.
Preparing a USB flash drive with the latest firmware
- Connect a USB flash drive to your computer/ laptop.
- Download the firmware that corresponds to your phone model by the links below:
- Latest firmware for WP600A: https://firmwares.wildix.com/app/android/wp600a/firmware.zip
Latest firmware for WP600ACG: https://firmwares.wildix.com/app/android/wp600a/firmware-acg.zip
- Add the downloaded file to the USB flash drive.

WP600ACG
- Connect the specially prepared USB flash drive to your WP600A or WP600AXX WP600ACG phone.
- Go to the phone Settings -> scroll down to About Multimedia Terminal.
- Proceed to System Update -> System Update Now.
- On the System Update screen, click the button Select other upgrade package.
- Click on the blue arrow button to go to the /mnt folder, where you can access your USB storage.
- Find the folder named usb_storage and click on it.
- Select the file with the firmware you’ve previously downloaded.
- Wait till the firmware is installed and the system reboots.
