How to create email signature

  1. Click on your user picture in the upper left-hand part of the screen to open Settings.
  2. Under Settings, click Kite settings

  3. Fill out the form which includes the following fields: 
    • Full Name
    • Company
    • Job title
      Additional information:
    • Phone
    • Address
    • LinkedIn
    • Custom link
    • Title for custom link
    • Custom text field

  4. On the email preview, you can see how your email signature looks like. 
    Note

    Note: In case of x-bees, two buttons, Chat with me and Schedule a call (which leads to the Meeting Scheduler), are automatically added. The link to the meeting scheduler is added to the email signature for all users with x-bees Standard and x-bees SuperBee licenses, regardless of whether the calendar integration is enabled or not. If calendar integration is missing, the link should be removed manually.


  5. Under Email signature preview, click Copy to clipboard or Download file to further apply the signature in your email client.

How to apply signature on Gmail

  1. Once you've generated email signature in Kite Settings -> Email signature, click Download file
  2. Open the downloaded file with your signature and copy it to clipboard 
  3. Go to Gmail Settings -> See all settings -> General 

  4. Scroll down to the section Signature, click + Create new, enter signature name and paste the signature into the input field (Cmd+A, Cmd+V on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+A, Ctrl+Shift+V on Windows)


  5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes

How to apply signature on Thunderbird

  1. Click Download file to download the .html file of your signature
  2. Go to Thunderbird -> Tools -> Account Settings 
  3. Now you have two options:

  1. Open the HTML file you have downloaded in step 1 in the browser
  2. Right-click and select View page source

  3. Copy the content
  4. Go back to Thunderbird -> Tools -> Account Settings and under Signature text check the box Use HTML and enter the copied content into the box below

​​How to apply signature on Outlook

(Tested on: Outlook 2010/ 2016)

  1. Once you've generated email signature in Kite Settings -> Email signature, click Download file
  2. Open the downloaded file with your signature and copy it to clipboard 
  3. Open Outlook, go File -> Options (may vary depending on Outlook version)
  4. Go to Mail menu and click on Signatures

  5. The window of mail Signatures opens, click on New and give a title to your signature (for instance, Kite).
  6. Select the signature and paste the content copied at step 3 into the box "Edit signature" below. Click Ok to apply.
    When you create a new email, Kite email signature should be automatically applied (in case you are using several signatures, select Kite signature)

How to apply signature on Apple Mail

  1. Once you've generated email signature in Kite Settings -> Email signature, click Download file
  2. Open the downloaded file with your signature and copy it to clipboard 
  3. Go to Apple Mail -> Preferences -> Signatures, select Google and click  + to create a new signature
  4. Give your signature a name and make sure to disable the option Always match my default message font
  5. Delete the content and paste the new signature (Cmd+A, Cmd+V on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+A, Ctrl+Shift+V on Windows)
