Introduction

...

When globally available, the WMS version is being further developed, with new features released, bug fixes, as well as performance and security improvements. The other two stages (End of Development and End of Life) are described in detail below

Note

Note: Subscription based (aaS) PBXs are automatically upgraded to a new major WMS version.

For LifeTime PBXs, there are no automatic upgrades possible. To upgrade LifeTime PBXs, you need to convert them to aaS first

End of Development (EOD)

WMS version is considered End of Development (end of sales) when the next major version is ready to be globally available. While the WMS version is at the End of Development stage and until it is End of Life:

...

LifeTime PBXs that were not converted to aaS during the End of Development stage, remain with a WMS version that is End of Life.

Note

Note: You can still upgrade LifeTime PBXs by converting them to aaS at any moment. However, after the end of the Promo, the cost of the procedure is higher.

When WMS version is End of Life:

  • There are no security updates or patches.
  • There is no guarantee of Microservices and other services backward compatibility due to third party software updates (e.g. browsers).
  • X times support cost
  • The service is provided for as long as the Support fee is being paid and as long as it is technically possible.
